Nearly 100 years ago, the eyes of the nation were fixed on Buffalo, NY and the momentous event that occurred here.
On September 14, 1901, following the
death of President William McKinley,
Theodore Roosevelt was inaugurated the 26th president of the
United States in a simple ceremony.
